Book My Bike In is just taking off with our shop. We've found that a lot of rider are interpreting the Drop Off Date as the date the bike will get worked on/completed and thus becoming angry when we are unable to fix it as we are full. I've checked with Citrus Lime and the Drop Off date is the date the rider will drop the bike off and from there the shop chooses which day they will repair it.
Please can there better wording on the BMBI page for riders so they understand they need to drop their bike off on one day and expect it to be worked on another?

Neil McQuillan - CEO Citrus-Lime I see this is an older thread, but this is an ongoing issue for us as well. Lots of No-Shows and lots of misunderstanding with regards to the date they selected being a drop off date for scheduling vs. the date the service is to be performed.

Drew Jordan Regarding it being a drop off date, I don't have a clear vision on howto change this, I think it's already clear in the text and if memory serves the email confirmation. However the issues you outline are annoying and we want to help. Do you think George's suggestion below might resolve the problem?
My guess is that people are in rush and are not really reading what's on the screen. One thing to mention as people get more used to the service this will frustration will reduce as they understand how it works.
Bookings thru Book My Bike in are up 50% year on year, and much of that is repeated bookings. When the platform is new to a customer they are more likely to have this kind of frustration, or maybe that's just optimism on my part.
Adding a booking fee would likely reduce the number of no shows, however in doing so we'd see a big drop in bookings so its something of a double edged sword here.

We've had 3 BMBI's in the last week where the customer expected the bike done that morning or afternoon.
If we can't get something added about this being a drop off time only then we'll have to stop using the service.

100% agree. Was fine when the workshop was quieter over the Winter but starting to become an issue now. Liking the feature but considering switching it off due to this.

I definitely agree with this. Please could something be added where the Blue lines are in Bright/Bold lettering?
