A simple list like this generates the most service booking. In the circumstance you have above, the user can select “I’m not sure” and enter job details in the comments box. However, that might not align with your goal—if, for example, you want to gather specific details about the work in advance. While this approach provides more information upfront, it results in fewer bookings and more phone inquiries.
When I book a bike service, I’m often unsure about the exact work needed, so being asked for details could be a deterrent. I’ve been riding MTBs for 20 years and own about seven bikes, yet when for example my shifting goes bad, I’m never certain whether the issue is with the cassette, chain, or something else.
