Allow suppliers to have multiple products in a single item

We need to be able to have all of the options for purchasing an item from a vendor be able to be listed under one item.
For things like Shimano B05S brake pads or KMC 9-speed chains where we can buy in multiple quantity options (MPQ) (each, per 25, per 50, per roll, etc.) we have to have an item for each purchase quantity. To the customer (and my staff) it's the same exact same item whether it came in single, 25, 50, etc. quantity.
Ideally items would allow for multiple listings from a single vendor where we can purchase the same product in different quantities.
Only having to look at a single item rather than multiple would allow for better inventory tracking, more simplified ordering, better COGS accounting, and simplify things for the customer-facing folks.

Bumping this topic. Keep running into "commodity" items - today it was 90deg brake noodles - that can be purchased in multiple varieties and MPQ from one vendor. Would still love to see the functionality where a single vendor could have multiple supplier part codes listed under one item.

Bumping this since I keep running into this issue - today was ordering GUP. I can buy singles, a 6-pack box, or a 24 pack case from one vendor. It's the same product. Pricing is different per item based on quantity.
I could do math and enter the price based on what version I am ordering and enter quantity ordered.
What would be nice is just to be able to enter the item number we ordered, have the proper qty show up in the PO based on MPQ for that item number, and enter the price if it needs an update.

We support supplier pack quantities, give the helpdesk a shout and they can walk you thru this piece of functionality.

Neil McQuillan - CEO Citrus-Lime yes, we use MPQ. It generally works really well.
It's probably not really an MPQ challenge, but more an supplier or item based challenge.
I do not really like to have multiple items that are essentially the exact same item, but only differentiated based on the quantity that we purchase them in. Added opportunity for mistakes and confusion on many fronts.
Old POS allowed us to have as many supplier part numbers as needed under an item listing and it was really fantastic when it came to managing the customer facing SKU's.
