Give retailers more control over multiple suppliers

The multiple supplier feature has a lot of potential, but at the moment it feels like retailers do not have enough control over it.
Suppliers are automatically pulled onto items through SIM, even when they are suppliers we would not want to purchase from. As a retailer, we should be able to decide which suppliers are linked to our products, rather than having them added automatically.
There is also an issue with how the primary supplier works. If the primary supplier has no stock, but another linked supplier does, the item can still continue to appear against the primary supplier. From a purchasing point of view, this is really unhelpful and makes it much harder to see where stock is actually available.
Managing the suppliers is also far too difficult. There is no simple way to remove unwanted suppliers, especially in bulk, and there is no clear overview showing which suppliers are linked to which items.
It would be really useful to have:
The option to stop suppliers being automatically added through SIM.
Full control over which suppliers are linked to our items.
Better visibility of stock held by alternative suppliers.
An easy way to remove suppliers, including in bulk.
A central overview of all supplier and item links.
The feature could be really useful, but it needs to give retailers much more control and make the supplier information easier to manage.
