I'm not sure why anybody would want o see all their inactive items by default, it would make the backoffice tidyier and more consistant with pos if the inactive items were not displayed (unless checked to do so)

Hi All
Thank you for expressing an interest in this suggestion.
This has been discussed in the recent development meeting and it has been decided that this work will be progressed.
A development Request has been created and linked to this post so that you are kept up to date with the status.
However, I am pleased to say that, as so many of you have expressed an interest in this change, we have now added this to the February 2020 sprint queue.
Watch out for this in the Feb 2020 release :-)

I have also mentioned this many times, right from the onset of POS. Seem silly not to. RMS had a Hide All inactive items option.

Please! Please! Please! Also include Matrix items. It's so annoying that you can't get rid of them.

Agreed. Was going to raise this myself as I have often mentioned this.
