If Backoffice has a feature that immediately highlighted items that don't have cost pricing entered - from Purchase orders, goods in, or even the item card - that would he helpful in making sure that there are at least visual barriers in place to encourage complete data entry.

Potentially even a confirmation box when and if you are receiving a PO: "You are about tom receive one or more items without cost pricing captured, are you sure you want to continue?"
