Internal and External Customer Comms Dashboard

If a set of users from a shop is using the system effectively, and providing adequate note, email, and text communications within cloudpos. It would be useful for their to be a dashboard or a feed of communications. For example, with a busy shop Employee A special orders a part for a customer, then employee B places the PO, and employee C receives the order and sends an email to the customer letting them know it is done. When employee A logs into CloudPOS, it would be helpful for them to be able to see a dashboard of the orders that they've dealt with and see an abbreviated list of communications around that order so they are easily kept aware of the status. By nature of a user taking part in comms on an order, be it an internal note or external email/text, they would essentially be tagged for notifications on that feed until it concluded.
For special order heavy shops, this would save a lot of time having to manually search for the information for each instance, and/or mitigate any question as to who has done what, from a bird's eye view.
From the shop owners perspective, tabs can be kept on the quantity and quality of outgoing and incoming communications as well.

Are you not describing the orders report in the POS backoffice, you can see outstanding orders and there stock status information. e.g. https://pos.citruslime.com/backofficeux/CustomerOrderDetailReport.aspx
It does not show communications history but the order can be clicked thru into the POS which does show all comms related to that order.

Neil McQuillan This is what I have in mind, albeit quick and dirty. Ideally this would be located on the POS and/or the backoffice tab. It would show only the most recent entries for any given communication chain of an order, be it internal or external. Does this make more sense?

Patrick Clapp Ah OK that makes sense, I can see how something like that would be helpful. We don't have anything like that on our roadmap, but I like the idea of expanding out the unified instore we've added for SMS messages. I know we plan to put C&C order notifications in there, and also have a notification engine in POS.
