It would be good to have an option to turn on MFA for certain users - e.g. those who have administrator access.
Not only would this help make CL more secure but it would also help with cyber liability insurances where they are asking if MFA is available in our cloud services and we have to put no for CL but yes for everything else.

We've started work on adding 2FA to Cloud POS. We've made good progress on this, and we're expecting this to be available following the Cloud POS release in March 2024.

You'll be able to enable this across all of your users, which would allow you to only set this up for certain users. You can then change this to enforced to make it a requirement for all of your users.
It's likely that we will make this mandatory in the future for all users of the system.

Hi Suzy Weightman not us in particular and may have been thought about, but what if staff are not allowed phones on shop floor? also will this be required on the switch user screen after transaction? Thanks

Cashier's wouldn't necessarily need to use their personal mobiles for auth, so that could be an option if any of our users don't permit staff to have phones on the shop floor.
No, it won't be required for quick switch (we thought this would be a painful user experience!).
