MPQ/Boxed items doesn't work properly

While MPQ is a workaround, operationally, it's not a clean way to designate an item as part of a box and associate an individual SKU to be the single items in the box. The proper way to do this would be to say that a box of 20 Shimano chains has SKU "ABCDE", costs $400, and retails for $800. The individual chain is part "DEFG" and can be bought as a quantity of 1 from suppliers as well. The single cost would be $20 and retail for $40. Currently, we would need to set up the box to cost $20 and retail for $40, but with a MPQ of 20. That isn't really making a box into singles, it's tricking the system into treating the box like 20 singles.

i think you can do what you want with a "kit" the MPG is more to deal with a product like a box of energy gels that you must by in a box of 20 and want to sell individually, You are not likely to sell a box of 20 chains, but if you want to a kit can be made, although a kit does also lack some functiunatly such as dynamic discounts
