Multiple customer names, email addresses, and phone numbers per customer record

Our bikes are frequently purchased by families. Would like to allow for multiple names, emails, and phone numbers in a customer record.

That allows transaction data to be easier searched and makes life easier when one owner calls in and asks about a bike with a work shop job under the other owners name.

Just ran into another instance where this would be greatly helpful.
We had a customer schedule an appointment using BMBI. They are already part of a an existing customer. They used a different email and it created a new customer. 
This is creating unnecessary work on our end b/c we have to manage/merge customers.

Wondering if there has been any thought on this from the CL folks?
The attached screenshot is how we work around for now.
With customers entered like this the search in POS stinks. It's too specific and you can't enter a first name and last name of the person in front of you, you have to enter it "first & first" to start pulling results. 
Would love some thoughts from CL on if this is even in the consideration set of upgrades.

Yes! Have many customers "John & Jane" but search of either name will not pull up "John & Jane".

Or maybe that we can link records together by relationship in order to find folks faster?
