It would be handy if we got to see a preview of what was to be made obsolete, as the button says preview but only gives a quantity which dosnt really help, the confrimation box says "are you sure you wish to contine" but how would you know if your sure if you dont know what is being made obsolete

Obsolete Items Wizard Preview

We stopped using this 3-4 years ago due to it being unreliable (by admitted by CL at the time) which I believe was largely down to the information being fed to CL from the product feeds.
The problem we had was simply that it would mark items as obsolete or do not order that weren't supposed to be marked as such. What I think would help me regain confidence would be if we could properly preview the changes it is going to make ie if it could present a line by line list with product codes and descriptions with the option to check a box or remove an item that you didn't want removed for whatever reason. I think this would allow us to query items before marking them obsolete.

Just spotted that another request from this exists from 2019 and marked as planned but never implemented so perhaps warrants another look. https://citruslime.canny.io/citrus-lime-backoffice/p/making-items-obsolete-wizard-preview

we've made over 100k of units inactive; yet makes no difference when running a price list store level, or creating a stock take. End result is that stock take function cannot collate pre/post count data, and an excel spreadsheet using index/match queiries ahs to be used to calculate stock differences
