Order Canceling suggestions

When I have to cancel an order before it's tendered, by removing all the items from the order, I'm left with no record of what the customer once requested, only that there's now a closed order containing no items.
If when an item is closed due to having all items removed from it, it would be helpful to record the details of those removed items to the Order Notes, for future reference. Even better - a "Close/Cancel Order" button that removes all items and records their info in one step, would be great.

This would be ideal. It would also help if this was logged in the item movement report.

Agree, the loss of the data is a shame if a customer comes back again and refers to the old order as then we have to find it in our email order confirmation archive
