Permission levels

Hi, we want to stop stores creating items in back office, as they get created, sometimes with wrong pricing, not on the website and adds extra work.
to stop this we want to reduce the manager's permission from back office to super visor cashier. but if we do this, they cannot do stock adjustments, which they do need to do every now and then/
it would be great if you can change this or, give us access to change permissions per menu option
thank you

They should be able to use the SIM import, but should not be able to create articles themselves.
During the SIM import, it should be ensured that the UPC or EAN code is not already assigned to an article from another supplier. If this is the case, the supplier should be added as an additional supplier to the existing article.
If there are any discrepancies in the MSRP, the admin should be informed automatically, and approval should only be possible after the correction has been made.

Admin tasks, such as adding products, running wizards, changing prices really need to be separate from the day-to-day running of the store.

Stefan Moody i agree!

An ideal system would be pre-defined "abilities", with each Citrus client then able to create their own permission levels, and associate each one with a given ability, and then assign users to these permissions. So, we get to define who can do what.

Steven Sproat yes please, that would be so useful! we have to give so many people admin rights, which we really don't want to do!

Completely agree, if you can complete a stocktake you should be able to manually adjust stock.

Darren Diaper that make sense, a supervisor cashier can create a stock take but cannot adjust stock through the item card, they both do the same thing
