Ok, hear me out.... I think that having the ability to enter quantities when I'm choosing items in Search and Select would speed up creation of PO's. Who's with me?

Totally agree, it’s a pain in the arse to add all the codes you want to order and then have to go back down the list and add the quantities. We have made errors before due to this!
