On the new 2.0 setting the barcode alias is extra clicks from the original version where you can set it below the look up code on the child. I don't have the SIM option so have to do everything manually

Hi Sarah, 
We're adding this back into the grid, so it's quicker and easier to access the set alias tab. 
This will be in the Cloud POS update next week.
