We have encountered a problem with the transfer lists on the new POS 2 system.

When creating a transfer between stores based on mins and maxes and it is over 500 items (which ours almost always are are) it wants to auto save after each line is deleted, each save takes 5+ seconds, and therefore when deleting lots of items and trying to edit the list, it becomes quite a lengthy process which takes substantially longer than it used to.

The auto-save feature was not a feature on POS 1 and is new to POS 2. On POS 1 you could delete what you liked and then click save, and this was a much quicker process when deleting a large number of lines.

The alternative suggested was to export the list to Excel and edit it there, but unfortunately when you export the list to excel it only shows you the item code (so you have no way to tell what the item is) and the stock number, and is missing the key information of the item description, the numbers sold in the shops etc, which are vital to us editing the transfer lists so we are unable to use this.

If the auto-search feature could be turned off on the transfer lists this would be a great help to us, as the way POS 2 is currently running is greatly impacting the business in terms of the time it is taking to create transfers and the efficiency of moving stock around.

We have had some lovely feedback from staff members regarding other areas of the new POS 2 system but unfortunately this seems to be a sticking point and we are struggling to find a way round this.
