It would be much cleaner and easier to navigate around POS & MT if you could delete products. Just create a warning when you press delete 'are you sure you want to delete this product?'

This would also free up the server so it holds less data.

Personally I'm finding just using the active/inactive status ineffective.

In the current climate with long lead times we are making some items inactive because they are out of stock for 6 months or more. But there are a number of items that are now discontinued and those could really do with being archived, rather than having to be filtered out using their Active/Inactive Status.

Or at least Hide old products, If deleting it messes up reports.

If I understand this right, apologies if you already know; you can remove products completely from the POS page esp matrix. I used to make all the child options inactive, but was still left with pages and pages with just the matrix showing and clogging up POS. I discovered if you open the matrix up and click "Mark All as Inactive" it gets rid of it (well hides it from view and you can view them in inactive items) and that clears up hundreds and hundreds of useless Matrix lines. I have not worked out how to do it on MT.... yet.. if possible. Hope that makes sense and helps.

This would be a really useful update. It's so messy having historical product data that's not required anymore. The longer you're on Citruslime the worse it gets. We probably have at least 50,000 redundant SKU's that could be erased.
