Ability to Set own dicount level for "OnSale" Items

What?
The CL system currently determines "OnSale" items as anything with a discount. Even if that is 1%
We need the ability to set our own "OnSale" value so our "OnSale" links show what WE determine to be a "Sale Item"
Why?
This would allow us to create better Landing Page Links for Marketing Purposes.
Season Codes, Collections or
?discount=x links are not the answer here. We need control over this.
This would also tie in with the Sale sash functionality that came out last year, which when implemented, Kinda flopped due to how it changed website visuals. (Was/now pricing)

There is a "Sale Percentage Threshold" under Site Display Options, in Cloud MT, which allows you to do this.

Paul: Hey Paul,
Yeah I did see that when it was released.
However, what was asked for and what we received were to very different things.
It has never worked how it was meant to and changes our website format too much for our liking.
I believe it does allow you to control sale sashes but not the actual On-sale discount level for links containing /on-sale.
Honestly, please correct me if I am wrong. :)
From what I remember, things like was/now pricing disappeared, removing that selling/marketing element completely. Also there was another major reason I never used this feature that is eluding me right now.

Will Condie: I cant check our own as ours is set fairly low and I dont believe we even have anything discounted lower than this threshold - However the description of the function says "Furthermore, if an item is discounted but below the minimum sale threshold, it will not appear on Find & Filter Sale (/onsale) pages."

That was it!
From the original canny post about this, all that was really asked was to have the control over a sash to add to products that have been discounted by a certain level.
But somehow an extra function was added which meant the removal of was/now pricing on /onsale pages. This was a big step in the wrong direction for us. People want to know how much they are saving.
If we could set the threshold and not change how the page function in terms of marketing elements, then it would be a win.
And we could work with the non-showing of items below the threshold.
Outside threshold setting...
We are currently having a similar issue with ALP's pages doing the same thing. There is no was/now pricing as it has something to do with non-discounted items showing a 0% discount (e.g. Was £150/ 0% /Now £150)
So the was/now function has been turned off for ALPs (but I believe this issue is with Dev)
