Absolutely agree - that would be very helpful. Are there any updates on this? Nick Johnston - this will be of interest to you.

I know this is set to be planned but to add to this... A very useful function would be having the ability to use Collections and FaF filters in the same URL
www.trekitt.co.uk/collections/collection name/gender/colour
This would allow us to create large collections that span multiple categories and link to them directly from newsletters and in landing pages.

I've added a development task to include a grid on each facet collection edit page.

Ben Kippax: Another thought that would help with the management issue of Collections....
!Expiry Dates!
If you set an expiry date it would then AUTO remove products from the collection, freeing up Collection Slots. :)
Will aid marketing efforts too!
Do we have an update for when this work is to be completed?
Peace!

Will Condie: Hi Will
As we're currently updating our back-end Find and Filter code over the next few weeks and months I am sure this will get looked at but to be sure I will discuss this with the team and see if we have a date and why this hasn't been picked up already.

Ben Kippax:
A suggestion would be that the URL gets when archived.
If you try to use the same name you get alerted or it auto adds a 1/2/3 or 4 etc somewhere in the URL if you do end up accidentally duplicating.
Or even ask you if you want to de-archive the old collection link.

Steven Graham I think having a list of items relating to a collection would be a good idea.

To Add to the above, Being able to delete collections would be great! We have so many historical collection, this section is just messy and the URL doesn't seem to change (it might change but not in a timely fashion) when you edit the name and or tile of the collection. Deleting them would be a lot simpler.

Will Condie: for SEO continuity, it's important that URLs relating to Facets don't change. The same is true for Facets. You can change a facet name for instance Clothing > Clothes, but the URL will remain as whatever the facet was originally called.
