Coupons // Add ability to set a fixed value discount to specific items

At the moment you can only assign a coupon to a specific product with percentage discounts.
This makes it much more difficult to use coupons for price matches etc.
This also goes hand in hand with this request: https://citruslime.canny.io/cloud-mt/p/coupon-codes-to-allow-pence

More Control On Discount Codes

At the moment you can't add more than one item to a fixed price discount code. It would be good to be able to set a discount code and then select multiple items/products to use the code, also for the percentage discount more flexibility on selected specific items/products to add discount to and not just complete lines of items. Example £85 discount to 8 out of 50 items within that line of products.

Hi everyone,
Thank you for this feedback about how we could further improve the Coupons feature.
We've expanded the functionality significantly since this post was created, but we're still keen to hear your thoughts. We are just about to enter a very exciting phase of development for our Ecommerce platform, so if you have any other comments to add here, please do so.

We are also struggling with the discount coupon system - it really needs to be updated and expanded: We would like to see the above change, plus including Chris' request: Multiple products to be able to be added - not just one per coupon code
Plus:
Multiple categories to be added please - not just one Category per SKU (this allows for example a mens and a women's category to be added).
Thanks
Simon

Totally agree with this - working out percentages is challenging for me at the best of times! Also, another major improvement would be the ability to use one code on multiple products. We currently have a £175 discount running which has to be by a code which relates to 3x SKU's. The only way I can get this to work is by creating 3x different codes which makes marketing the promotion harder...
