Custom Product Builder - Duplicate Option

The new Custom Product Builders in CloudMT are much easier to use, however it would be extremely helpful to be able to duplicate templates that changes can then be made to. We have some products available in a range of different 'base' models, but that have similar customisation options. We cannot apply the same template to all models due to pricing differences, so it would save a huge amount of time not having to manually recreate every single template and their attributes and options within these every time. (E.g. we have one item with nearly 100 attributes, but 4 base models, so currently would have to create the 100 options 4 times).

Emma - Citrus-Lime Custom Product Builder could be a very good selling tool but we under use it at the moment due to the clunkiness of its backend UI and the inability to copy/repeat options on additional products. We have made good sales with it until this point, but those sales could be significantly increased.
I would put a strong vote for Custom Product Builder getting some love with the Ecom overhaul.

I agree, I need a duplicate button. I'm spending sooooo much time copying and posting every little detail into a new item.

Can i also add please a quicker way of updated custom products that use a template? If we adjust the template, we have to go into each product manually to update it, there has to be a better way where we can update all products at once

Is there any update on this? A lot of time could be saved if a duplicate option was added.

Ben Kippax we are implementing Custom Product Builder more and more in our catalogue. A Duplicate button would be really helpful!

This is still causing us some issues (and taking a lot of time!). I have just created a custom product builder for a saddlecloth, which has three attributes within it. Each of the three attributes has 80 options in them, so duplicating them would be a lot easier. I then need to create the same CPB for 9 other saddlecloths, which have identical attributes, but different pricing (so we can't just apply one template to all 10 saddlecloths). If you could duplicate attributes and their options within CPB, and also duplicate a whole template, it would save a huge amount of time, and mean we could offer more custom products to customers.

I agree with Laura on the above! Very time intensive to reproduce templates that may only change by one attribute etc
