Ebay and Amazon bulk changes and bulk importing

It is only possible to list one item at a time on ebay and amazon, this is grossly inefficient for even a medium sized catelog.
Many items have the same primary details and item specifics that ebay requires. such as disc rotors in different colours etc but there is not way to batch set them and each would has to be done individually
a) There needs to be a way to list batches and products such as all lights or all brake pads with details at the same time, like with the find and filter options in MT for ecom products.
some of these item specifics are already created when creating products in cloud MT, such as colour, model year, material, country, warranty etc and these should be pulled across automatically.
All the item specifics for ebay and amazon could be set up in the main product setup process and then pulled across in to ebay or amazon automatically.
As could the category set up and any other info that is needed.
M2e for magento does this amazing well and is able to automatically list ebay and amazon products automatically when creating the main product if set up correctly
This would create a huge saving in time and efficiency
b) We need the option to turn off price synchronisation revisions when items update. i.e we only want the quantities and listing details to update not prices after the item has been listed for the first time. This is to allow 3rd party price management software to run correctly after the initial listing process has been completed.
c) In ebay item specific section for example for the lights and reflectors category the "Features" Specific needs to be a multiselect box not a single drop down box i.e
Features: Batteries Included, Detachable Light/Flashlight, Flashing, Hi-Lo Beam, Rechargeable Batteries, USB, Water Resistant
Currently its only possible to select one of these items, but ebay allows multiples.
d) When listing on ebay, there is no option to define the ebay store category used. All the products go into the "Other" category. This gives a very poor user experience. i.e pedals should be able to be set to show up in the pedals store view category.
e) When a creating an ebay item, there is an option to list, suggesting that if you don't click the button the item wont list, however the product gets lists overnight automatically whether you want it to or not (we dont want it too, because our site hasn't launched yet and we just want to prepare, we now have duplicate listing). Also the unlist button currently doesnt work "Sorry, validation failed for your request Field: Ebay Category Id The selected category is not a child of the eBay category."
f) There doesn't seem to be any option to list or delist an item in Amazon. Full control is needed to start and stop listing in bulk.
g) the ability to list as a colour group would be preferred like with a size group, i.e One listing for disc rotors in different colours, not all colours listed separately. Having separate listings for all colours makes it harder for customers to find the item and reduces sell though rate.
h) Could you add a checkbox for Amazon FBA stocked, so that items that are in amazon FBA and not merchant can be filtered and ignored.
Thanks

Does any one have a work around or know if CL will ever let us call the same items different things on different channels.
For example, on Amazon the brand might be Giant Kids Bikes, on your website you want it as Giant.
you cant match a listing if the brand or prodcut name is exactly what its says on Amazon. we cant make the changes on the channel as CL over rides it.
The only option we know of is to change the listing on our website which is less than ideal.

Could we also have the ability to add an additional image and make it (or not) the primary image for the eBay/Amazon Listing

j) The amazon listing tool doesn't allow manual product matching to the correct ASIN. The amazon database has lots of errors. The automatic match often matches the wrong product. Please can we have a option like other systems to override the manual match and manually select the correct ASIN if it exists in the database.
Please see example, whilst they appear to be lovely handbags, they should in fact be Altura gloves.

Phil Topliss: We have raised this a number of times. Fully agree. Ben Kippax Neil McQuillan - CEO Citrus-Lime what is the latest on this?

I) Could you add a checkbox for Amazon and Ebay, so that items that shouldn't be listed on the channel can be filtered and ignored. i.e Do Not list - Checkbox

Hey, I like this idea. We're keen to make incremental improvements in this area and I think this would provide a good efficiency gain.
I've raised a development task for this which will be scheduled accordingly.

Ben Kippax: Hi Ben Kippax how is this progressing. We're about to embark on the epic of listing our products on eBay.... It would be god to know if/when there's a wizard that could allow us to bulk activate for sanity purposes.

Ben Kippax: Do you have any update on whether any of these changes will be made, these suggestions were 3 years ago.
We want to go back to using price optimisation software like we successfully used 3 years ago before moving to citrus lime.
i.e we want to turn off price syncronisations by citrus lime after the product is added to amazon or ebay, and then let the 3rd party run the sync to reduce or increase prices within a set range, this would have a huge impact of sell through rate

Phil Topliss: As in a re pricer Phil Topliss? if so we have been asking for updates on the something for over a year now. You cant sell on 3rd party channels without them.
P
Phil Topliss
Nick Johnston: Yes we want to use repricing software, but citrus lime resets the price regularly, so if you try to connect repricing software it doesn't work as the price constantly gets overwritten. We need an option to turn off citrus lime price updates and let the repricing software take over. This is possible as other ecommerce systems allow this
Nick Johnston
Phil Topliss: fully agree.
