Add Ability to Run a Stock Valuation Report for a Specific Date

Right now, the Stock Valuation Report only provides for a value for TODAY.
For tax filing purposes, I need to know my stock value on 1/1/2025 and then on 12/31/2025. I submitted a request to Chat on how to do that. See picture below (instructions from the helpdesk below. It wasn't very straightforward.
It would be much cleaner and easier if we could just input which date we want the value of inventory. Would that be possible? To add a date tyo the Stock Valuation Report?

If we are audited by the IRS, we have to prove EVERYTHING via a document. So I need to be able to print a document and/or pdf.
