Categorical Sales and Categorical Inventory percentage

I'd like to see one report that shows categorical sales as a percentage of total sales (like in the Margin Detail Report under Filter by Sale Value), with a column next to it showing the on hand inventory dollar amount and the percentage of total inventory on hand.
For example, if you have a category showing 1% of total sales and 30% of you inventory is in that category, you might have a problem! On the other side of the spectrum if you have a high performing category with a small amount of inventory (which can be good), it might be a growth opportunity.
This report would also be great for Brands (not just suppliers as we may get one brand from multiple suppliers) too.

We have report which is not quite what you've asked for but is heavily used by some of our retailers to buy more from brands which sell fast and at a high margin moving money into areas of the business which are working well. We tend to train on this based on season and brand which we've found more effective than department and category. However you can run it on departments or categories if you want to.
See my screenshot below for howto find this in Cloud Reports.
I also think you might find this video useful.

I'm aware of your account, you've been a big help to us with positive feedback, your account manager can help you with a run thru using your data, and we'd be happy to arrange more training at our expense. We are so passionate about helping retailers increase margin.
We deal with one cycle dealer on the West Coast USA who uses this report, last year they managed to keep turnover static but increased gross margin by 8%, which bucks the general trend cycle last year.
I built the report based on the way Tom, the main owner at Working Class Heroes and its been fundamental to growing the business from £0.25 million to over £9 million over the last 13 years. Its worth noting that they are one of highest 'exit margin' retailers, so thats the margin achieved not the margin purchased at.
