Report -- Add Columns When Needed -- Any Column -- The List of Columns to Add Should Be From the Full Suite of Fields in the Database

The standard reports are great. I love them. But,
I'd like to be able to add any column to a standard report. For example, I need to take inventory of my bikes and batteries. Serialized items. The standard Price List doesn't include the Serial Numbers, and there is no option to add the Serial Number column/field. So, I can't take inventory of serialized items from that report. The standard Serial Number report doesn't include items that don't already have their serial number entered. For example, if a bike has been delivered and brought into inventory, but is still in a box, we often don't know the serial number until we take it out of the box. For example, MOKWHEEL and VELOTRIC do not have the serial number on the box so we can only retrieve the serial number when the bike is unboxed and assembled. So, I can't use the serial number report for taking inventory of serialized items, because all the serialized items are not listed. Therefore, I need to be add serial number to the Price List report. There are other reports that I'd like to add a column or two, that are not included the options for adding columns. Any chance we could get the ability to add any columns (from fields in the database) to a standard report?

Today, I've run into another instance where I needed to add a column to a report that wasn't available under "Columns". I need a report that shows bike sales in Nov and how they were paid for (cash, card, etc). I tried the Who Bought What Report, but it doesn't have the Payment Type field, and I can't add it. The Help desk suggested using the Item Movement Report and open each receipt. I really need a report that I can sort and analyze. Not one piece of data at a time. Please add the ability to add any field (column) to any report. I really don't care how long it takes to download. I need a report so that I can filter, sort, and analyze the data (in excel).

Oddly, the Item Movement report has the tax rate field/column, but does not include the Payment Method. Why would we need the tax rate field/column on the Item Movement Report? I'm not opposed to leaving the Tax column field there, but please add the ability to add the Payment Type field/column to the report, as well as to the Who Bought What Report.
