at present either two reports have to been run for period this year vs period last year, and then percentages worked out.

It would be great to get something moving here. Even if it was at first just for the Profit Summary by Channel report. A key business decision maker is YoY performance so I expect this development would impact everyone positively.

To easily review YoY sales over a specific period would be a great report to have access too - it would be much quicker and efficient. Currently if you want this information, it seems very time consuming to get to the YoY comparison stage

Would be great to get this feature built at some point. So often you want to glance quickly at what is succeeding or failing and this would allow it to be done quickly and efficiently.

Jenna Lees: any update on this? reporting needs to be able to compare against the same period LY for it to be usable.
We currently have to extract info at the end of every week, and compile this into reporting to get usable info.
We need to be able to see Brand/Department/Category performance against same period LY, and by period or quarter

If it could work like the Google Analytics "Compare To" function for this it would be perfect.
