To add detail re. effect on the business (@devs, CL, whatever) - automation of marketing action hinges on the timely processing of data. Manually exporting excel spreadsheets to monitor purchase behaviour every day is obviously untenable. Doing it weekly is a bit of a chore, and hamstrings the accuracy of the marketing work. Something as simple and seemingly innocuous as automating customer data processing doesn't just save time: it means a business can personalise the way it interacts with the customerbase more accurately, thus improving conversion rates, customer retention, and basically just making more money.

also the report must MUST be csv - this is the universal standard for data delivery. frankly it's embarrassing that this functionality isn't available

Aboslutely agree! So much time wasted running reports that could and should be automated.

This would be so useful, we could have reports run out of hours ready for the morning tasks so it would save workload and clashes on CitrusLime's servers in the morning.
