Please consider adding the ability to select and add additional columns/fields to the Serial Number Report. The report is useful for locating a serialized item, but it currently does not provide enough information to effectively track that item through inventory and ultimately to the customer who purchased it.
At a minimum, please add the ability to display the following fields:
Date Item Was Brought Into Inventory
Customer Name
Customer Address
Customer City, State, and ZIP
Customer Phone Number
Customer Email Address
Date of Sale
Current Issue / Real-World Example
Today, I needed to quickly determine the status of a serialized battery.
I searched the Serial Number Report and successfully located the battery by its serial number. The report shows the battery as Sold, but it does not tell me when it was sold or which customer purchased it.
I then clicked the Item Code and went to the Serial Number tab on the Item Card, hoping to trace it from there. Unfortunately, the serial number I am researching does not appear there either.
I know this particular battery was shipped to us on February 17, 2026, so it would not have arrived at our shop until after the sales transactions currently showing on the Item Card. However, I cannot find a way to determine:
When this specific serialized battery was received into inventory
When it was sold
Which transaction included it
Which customer ultimately purchased it
At this point, I know the battery exists in the system and that its status is "Sold," but I have no practical way to trace its history or determine who has it.
Requested Improvement
Please make the Serial Number Report customizable by allowing users to Add Columns, similar to other reports within the system.
A serialized-item report should allow a retailer to follow the basic lifecycle of an individual serialized product:
Received into Inventory → Held in Inventory → Sold → Customer
This information is particularly important for serialized products such as e-bikes, batteries, motors, and other components where serial-number tracking may be necessary for warranty claims, recalls, manufacturer inquiries, theft reports, and customer service.
The Serial Number Report already provides the starting point by allowing us to locate the serial number. Adding inventory dates, sale dates, and customer information would turn it into a much more useful tracking and reporting tool.

I found my error. However, I would still like to be able to add the fields listed to the serial number report.
