Show customers who have bought X AND Y

we can run reports to show who bought what, but it is not possible to show who bought a specific item and an other specific item. This would be used for target marketing. and to improve staff sales.
example: a report that shows who has bought a bike crossed with who has bought a helmet/pedals/1st service.
probably a more important report is who has bought a bike and has not bought helmet/pedals/1st service.
i think possibly create a report then it would then be fed into another
report 1 who has bought a bike more than 3 months ago---
---report 2 who has not had a 6 week service

I use Microsoft Access for this sort of thing.
Export Who Bought What from Cloud Reports.
Import into Access.
Create [Query Spec1] and [Query Spec2].
Link [Query Spec1] to [Query Spec2] by Account number to give a table showing who bought both or run an in [Query Spec1] but not in [Query Spec2] to find who hasn't bought a Spec2 item.
The more interesting is, as you suggest, in-store customers who bought a bike with no additional purchases.
I'm happy you give you more info on this if you want it.

I agree - more buying behaviour reports would be good.

Hi
The Sales by Department report is similar. Have you looked at this to see if this suits your requirements? If not, let us know what is missing.
Thanks Jen

I was only thinking about this sort of report the other day. In our case we would want to report on "What percentage of transactions that include "X" department also include items from "X" department?". This would give us insight in to how many customers are browsing in store at other departments when they come to pick up their essentials and can help make decisions about whether to run low margin items to draw customers in.
