I have found your year over year reports. Yay. I like to be able to download an excel spreadsheet for each category (Revenue, COGS, Profit, Margin, Items Sold) so that I can develop graphics. I'd also like to be able to separate Revenue and Profit into Bikes, Accessories, Rentals, and Service. So, the data set would need to include those Departments so I can separate the data further.
Here are some examples of the graphics I'd like to develop in Power Point.

I'd use the margin detail report, export it and ask Claude or ChatGPT to produce the slides in the format you are after. If you do this once and ask it to create a skills file and save this in the setup the process is quickly repeatable. We are using this for some of our internal reporting.

Neil McQuillan - CEO Citrus-Lime The titles of the reports are not exactly intuitive. For example, I wouldn't think a Margin Detail Report would be the report to select to see Sales by Departement/Category over time. I've asked for a spreadsheet that shows what fields are contained in each report, so that I can select the report that contains most of what I'm looking for. A quick reference guide, if you will. I'd also like to be able to any field as a column to any of the standard reports. I'm a data analyst, so I know how to produce the graphics (my specialty) from my previous career with the US Department of Defense. The best book I've found for telling a story with graphics is: Storytelling with Data: A Data Visualization Guide for Business Professionals, by Cole Nussbaumer Knaflic. Highly recommend it.
For my small business, I just need to be able to extract the raw data from CL without writing a bunch of code. I will try using the Margin Detail report to see what it produces in the way insights. Wish me luck.
