Is there an update to be expected for 2025, I don't think I'm alone when I dread having to make any changes in the shipping module. The thought of adding a new courier keeps me up at night!
Getting current Royal Mail services was an uphill battle, I'm not sure why this was the case. I'm guessing it's just as complicated if not more so to work on CLs end.
When this does come around things like this could really help:
  • Ability to block items from sale in certain countries
  • Ability to restrict services to certain items
  • Better integration with Royal Mail Click and drop
  • Use Royal Mail Mapping Codes so services aren't mistakenly used
  • Ability to block certain services, ie 2nd class gives access to letters and parcels.
we're currently using weight bands in a way they shouldn't be used to achieve some of the above but this quickly comes unstuck when someone a number of items.
