We currently operate using Mac devices, but the Citrus-Lime courier label printing application is only compatible with Windows. This means we cannot print courier labels directly from our existing systems.
Citrus-Lime support explained that the application relies on Windows-specific components, including its PDF rendering engine, print-handling layer and underlying runtime. The only current workaround is therefore to purchase, configure and maintain a dedicated Windows computer solely for printing courier labels.
Courier-label printing is a core part of order fulfilment, so this creates unnecessary hardware costs, additional system administration and another potential point of failure in a time-sensitive process. For businesses operating on macOS, the feature is effectively unavailable despite being an important part of the wider Citrus-Lime workflow.
Please consider developing a platform-independent solution. This could be:
A native macOS version of the label-printing application.
Browser-based label generation and printing.
The ability to download a correctly sized, print-ready label PDF.
Integration with a cross-platform print service or courier-label application.
At a minimum, Mac users need a supported way to generate and print courier labels without purchasing a separate Windows device.
It would also be helpful to understand whether cross-platform label printing is being considered for the product roadmap and whether other Mac-based Citrus-Lime customers are experiencing the same limitation.
