Refunding Points to Rewards Account

Sometimes web customers use points when buying a single item. If it gets returned the points show on the transaction to reduce the value of the transaction for the automatic payment refund however the points do not get added back to their account. I was told that this would be looked at for the new system.

For a request that seems to have garnered quite a bit of support, I think this needs to be looked at a implemented. I'm actually surprised that it's not part of the CR system in the first place.

Totally agree with this- a much needed feature that would save a lot of time and hassle. A button would be much better than having to manually put points back into someone's account.

Is there any chance at visiting this again?, we experience around 350-450 item returns in a week period. With this volume of customers we will experience multiple who have used loyalty points on a singular item/order
The lack of function to automate the return of Loyalty Points essentially delays the customers refund as it has to follow a set of manual calculations/conversions from a member of staff more trained to do so, if we have 5-10 a day that require it this can take up to 1 hour total time in-between other jobs. A simply click of a button to convert and refund points into a Loyalty Account would be massively beneficial.
