Be able to block shipping Services at product level in cloudMT

If you send products that are flammable or batteries not connected via (in the UK) Royal Mail it ends badly. Especially if your local depot is GATWICK AIRPORT where they have the most advanced scanners in the organisation! This isn’t just a UK issue though, there are equivalent restrictions worldwide
We have lost hundreds of pounds through small errors at peak trading times items being shipped incorrectly with Royal Mail / and I am sure there is an overseas equivalent.
So we need the ability to flag a product as not to offer shipping with “x” in cloud MT… OR… for multinational use, the ability to tick services in the shipping module that ARE ok to use for flammables and batteries and then a tickbox in cloudMT that is for “special handling shipping” and that way you have a usable identifier for all requirements with flexibility and it WILL save citrus lime clients money as their business grows
We can make warnings pop up on screen using the notes function but it doesn’t mean people always read it - we are only human / but if we added up the number of times this has happened to citrus lime customers globally I bet it’s more than the price of a nice cup of English tea and a tea cake!

This would be great. Currently we us an arbitrary item weight setting, and then block the service from a relevant weight band.

Hi Mark Rose! Yes we have to do the same but then with so many rules in the shipping module it’s already messy and adding fake weights as a workaround just complicates things and it’s easy for someone to forget or not be told!

Scott agree 100% - it's a minefield...

Mark Rose yup that was gonna be my suggestion, but the rules are borderline impossible to read as it's a mixture of both include/exclude rules and ....we set them up once and god forbid if we ever want to tweak them!

And this idea came from Claire Taylor at Anything at Anything Tecnical who I am helping to onboard and is a great suggestion!
