The way the shipping address form is laid out in the checkout it encourages the user to lookup their address each time rather than use the address book. This feels a bit cumbersome to the user and means retailers pay for more postcode lookups than they need to.
Can the address book be more visible and the default address be pre-filled?

I noticed this today, when testing something. Took ages to spot the saved address bit

agreed, the checkout process could be made clearer. even a little think like when you login, chrome autofills but until you click in the box, it then says you can login!
