Hi this is affecting us too, we marked many products as priority which have now dropped out of stock.

However these items are still appearing on the top of the page. In fact, they appear at the top, above in-stock items, which gives the initial impression that there's no products in stock on that category since the first row of products are all out of stock.

Also, by default, product listings pages for a brand excludes any out of stock items. If an out-of-stock priority item appears on the page then all of a sudden all out of stock items are shown on that page.

Ben Kippax can the reason for this behaviour be shared?

The way for us to fix this is to remove the priority item flag from affected items but this means that we need to be aware of stock movement and which items are flagged as priority - quite a lot of manual faff.

I've raised case SRQ-84764-L6N3 regarding this

Hi Sean, unfortunately there are specific requirements regarding this feature from when it was first developed which would prohibit us from making this change right now. I will leave the topic open so we can gauge interest and perhaps in the future we could consider making this configurable.
