How do people list things like flavours? Do you use colour groups, related items, ranges, collections? Do you list as a Matrix and the flavours like sizes?
They're the same but different so colour groups don't work. Which leaves Also in the Range or collections which are less featured.
I would be ace if there was a Flavour Group akin to Colour Group but when you add flavours to it that it leaves blank the short and long description, tech specs and professional opinion since a different flavour would likely have different ingredients.
Especially since Colour Group would likely not feature on a food listing. Would also save us time.
I've tried using colour groups but it doesn't really look right so now I'm using a collection in related items and ranges for further gropings like breakfast, meals, deserts for example.

Yepp same issue for ski brake widths or maybe tyre widths etc. I have argued before that making the colour group just a little more flexible would make this element incredibly powerful. Maybe Google spidering has something to do with the lack of flexibility?

Scott Fair, thanks for the response. Maybe we need a thread for shot down ideas due to technical reasons or better logic, so we don't keep asking.
