Free Gift or BOGOF when a customer meets a criteria

Agree, very different functionality to Starbuys. "Spend £X to get this free item" is something we would use a lot for promotions. Even better if you can use filters as well so you can, for instance, run "Spend £X on <brand> to get this free item".
We would use this a lot!

We used to do a lot of "Spend £X on <brand> to get this free item" type offers. This is definitely something missing from the platform.

You could do this with Starbuys could you not?

Neil McQuillan - CEO Citrus-Lime no unfortunately I had a chat with support about it and they asked me to post this here so it could gain traction if people wanted it.

Neil Spinney No your idea is a great one, as a standalone feature, however depending on how you are using Starbuys at the moment this would get you 95% of the way there now.
It's a cool tool if you look at on ttps://www.workingclassheroes.co.uk must of their items have starbuys, and its been a massive commercial success.
I think with a bit of creative thought as to where you apply the Starbuy you could likely do what you want, but you cannot have it match a particular basket value, only a F&F node, then the target offer needs to be a specific item or another F&F node.
e.g.
/bikes gives offer 95% off /pedals

Neil Spinney I had similar feedback on chat when trying to add a 3 for 2 promo. Star buys are ok, but the star buy graphic that shows on products doesn't appeal to end users like a BOGOF or 3for2 graphic would. Star buys require the user to follow the path to find out what the offer is.

Emily Russell I agree. The star buy feature is very good but the customer has to click on the graphic to see what the offer is and the graphic itself doesn't really catch the customers eye.
