Gift Vouchers on Line - Missing sales

We feel the gift voucher experience could be vastly improved. Below is an example of an equiry from a customer who wanted to buy an alternative value voucher. - Yes - when you click on a voucher value we have an explanation saying how to achieve a higer / alternative value but it is far from intuitive.
The 'Buy multiple vouchers to make one bigger value voucher' system may work from a programming perspecive but it's not what customers expect or experience on other sites or in stores.
Having a 'Choose you value' option would be ideal. Failing that if we could have the option to set up multiple options (as many as suited us) that would work.
One of the main reasons we chose to move to Citrus Lime was the fact that Voucher are integrated across web and in-store as our previous arrangment did not accomodate this and as great as Citrus Lime is in so other many ways we feel the the Voucher system is one of the weakest parts and ironically we saw a drop in Sales of Vouchers on-line when we switched to CL.
Gift Vouchers are an important revenue for our business - and likely so for many others here.

Agreed. Additionally, I spent the better half of my day today changing language across the website to inform gift voucher customers that they will receive their voucher codes only _after_ a staff member has processed their order in-store.
This is counter intuitive to most of our customers, who expect that a digital asset purchased online should be delivered to them immediately. As the retailer, it seems redundant to require a physical staff member to spend time needed for in-person customers to process delivery of a digital product that's designed for automatic delivery.
