Since the current version of the checkout was released it no longer removes VAT from items on the payment page after a customer has selected a non-EU shipping country.
This is very important for international customers who know that VAT should be removed and need to see this in the checkout to know exactly what they are paying.
I know that VAT is removed after the customer completes their order but international customers who order from us regularly have mentioned that they didn't place orders with us after the new checkout was released as they thought we no longer offered this.
At the moment the customer is expected to complete an order thinking they are paying one amount when the order confirmation comes through it is at the lower VAT free amount. It seems bizarre that there was such a backwards step for the checkout in how it handles these orders.
Please fix so that after a customer selects their shipping address the VAT is removed on the payment page so they can see exactly what they will pay before completing the order.
