Hopefully that title describes my suggestion...

I had an idea today, of being able to apply promotional messaging to individual product landing pages. In the same way that you can apply a starbuy, we would benefit from people able to communicate a promotion regarding a specific product or range of products that does involve the purchase of another item.

E.g. You could promote a "Save X on this bike with code SUMMER10 now"

Its something Ive come across on other sites, where the promotion is time bound and not necessarily one where you want to apply it as a "Sale" but typically I cant now find an example I am referring to.
