On product pages, the main product image has no width or height set. On mobile, the page loads, then the image arrives and pushes the price and Add to Basket button down the screen.
Google measures this as "Cumulative Layout Shift", one of its Core Web Vitals. A Mobile test in PageSpeed Insights scores our product pages around 0.41, where Google's "good" limit is 0.1. Because it's in the platform template, every Citrus Lime site is likely to score about the same.
Suggested fix: product images are already served square (width=1998&height=1998&mode=pad), so the template could add width="1998" height="1998" to the main image, or aspect-ratio: 1 / 1 to its container. Images still resize for every screen exactly as they do now, because the browser only uses the numbers to work out the shape and hold the space. One template change would fix it for every site.
Check it on your own site: run any product page through https://pagespeed.web.dev on Mobile and look at "Cumulative Layout Shift".
