SalesFire Search and Vouchers Out of Stock and Neg Reviews

SalesFire search is bloody good compared to the standard search but when it comes to gift vouchers/cards it has a hard time understanding they're in stock. Some of you guys have figured out a way around this but I and a few others have not.
Can anyone share their solution?? Some have removed vouchers/cards from search altogether which is a shame.
Also the way the vouchers are set up leave us all open to and receiving negative reviews. Are Gift cards on the roadmap for an upgrade. It would be great if they were/are before Christmas 2025.
If we can improve/fix this then we would promote gift cards/vouchers more.
Sorry to post up another problem, how is everyone else getting on with gift cards/vouchers?

Hello, they're still showing out of stock, just ran a sync. Have I jumped the gun? I saw this thread marked as completed.
My temporary fix was to block the gift vouchers (P4) from showing in the search and have a "promotion" display instead (P1)...

We've reached out to SalesFire about the vouchers not appearing in search we are also at a loss as to why this is happening.

Neil McQuillan - CEO Citrus-Lime I think it's because they're a non inventory item so appear to sales fire as zero stock, as opposed to infinite amount of stock

Vouchers are widely used on our platform instore and online.
Can you expand on this comment so I have a better understanding of any problems, or @me in existing Canny's, the only one which springs to mind is the fixed value increments they need to be purchased in online. We want to sort that but have no short term plan to do so

In terms of roadmap this year this is our focus.
Checkout V4 - BETA Launch in April
Backoffice 2.0 - BETA Launch in June
Ecommerce - "The More Control Update" - Will come in stages after the summer and autumn - we have a drafted roadmap which should publish this month
Workshop Version 2.0 - At the turn of the year

Thanks for the quick reply. We can't seem to figure out a way to show them as in stock in the SalesFire Search since they're a non inventory item with 0 stock. This would be great if we could somehow, looks like Redpost have solved it somehow but a few of us haven't.
When i was looking at other websites to see if their vouchers were in stock, I saw some negative reviews that were largely born from buyers not reading simple instructions. This could be fixed if the customer was prompted to choose either an email or physical voucher (confusion currently comes from entering in an address)
The look of the vouchers sent via email could definitely look and print better. I
Being able to send an eVoucher immediately or a physical one next day would be great. There's probably a security reason why we have to tender gift voucher purchases? Or the ability to set a voucher to send on a specific time/date.
The fixed value increments is definitely awkward, is the plan to replace that with the ability to enter an amount? Also blocking coupons from being used on vouchers, i think currently a 10% coupon reduces the value of the voucher by 10%?!
We sell vouchers, they're great.
In store we print off a label with the code on and stick it over our old gift cards code which i do hope will run out in my lifetime (we ordered a few too many) In store works fine.

Chris Can you set 'Block coupons' on the voucher item record? Weirdly you do have to set a colour and Google category to do this.

Chris On the Salesfire algorithm settings (Search - Algorithm - Default algorithm - Show out of stock items - On) you can allow the search to display out of stock items.
Vouchers will be displayed once this is changed

Adam Kappa Hi Adam, thanks for this. It does fix the out of stock voucher problem but introduces all the actually out of stock items to appear to be in stock until you click through to the listing to find it's out of stock. Leaves us open to other negative reviews.

Neil McQuillan - CEO Citrus-Lime I will, just went to do this but see the £20 and £50 have deactivated themselves. I'm getting in touch with support now.

Chris You can tweak the Salesfire algorithm to prioritise items base on "Stock Availability" to move those items to the bottom of the search or you could deactivate out of stock items using the "out of stock but active report".
There are a few ways around it if you play around with the settings - it just takes a bit of trial and error

Adam Kappa Thanks again Adam, I'll take a look at the algorithm.
I do try to stay on top of the inactive items, it's a constant battle... but a good one to have.
