Special Order delivery estimate on product page

When selecting a Special Order option on an item, the options below now say:
Stock Availability: "Available to Special Order"
Est. Despatch: "Special Ordered"
This feels like just a duplication of info and is potentially confusing to the customer.
It would be better to pull through the lead time into the Est. Despatch box - this is available when the customers click through to their basket so the data should be accessible. We have set up a custom option to direct the customer to their basket, but it would be better to have the information displayed on the page.

Is there a way to add the Backorder & Backorder Delay date on an item card just like you do for items in the supplier warehouse. This would be handy so customers can see the date an special order items expected date if they pace an order?

This is possible with the purchase order integration which is coming in the next version of Cloud POS.

Neil McQuillan - CEO Citrus-Lime: I am not sure that it is? Storm.J is referring to the Cloud MT Special Order functionality. This is separate to #PREO.

This one has been on my mind and I believe this is how it used to work on a previous version of the website. I think you would gain more conversions by having the estimated delivery dates on the item page. I’m an sure many customers won’t think to add the item to the basket and instead, simply leave the page.

Great suggestion. I would add to this that the lead times really need to be product code specific rather than a Matrix item (we have different sizes of bikes arriving at different times) our competitors on other platforms already have and use this feature so it would be great to get up to speed with them
