We had an issue where a product was not available for click and collect. The shop was set up correctly, there was stock, and everything looked good.
However, these items were previously special order items (allow backorder in Cloud MT) which then when we sold a few we brought in. And we do that a lot, as do other customers - show the full range, and if an item takes off that you do not normally hold, bring it into stock.
BUT click and collect doesnt respect the stock OVER the special order being ticked. So even when you have stock if the back order/special order box is ticked, it wont be available for click and collect.
So to me the logic is wrong. Its should be respecting the stock value FIRST, then checking the back order check box.
Otherwise there can be lots of products being blocked from click and collect, that will be hard to identify - until a customer complains like today - and also requires manual intervention, which a change of logic in the rules would resolve I think?
