Ability to customize the text message prefix when sending a Payment Link

Currently, when we send a Payment Link, the default text message prefix is "Here is the Payment Link you requested:". It would be useful to, at a minimum, be able to edit that default message (perhaps to include the Store's name? "Here is your Payment Link from Arcadian Shop"). For full customization, to be able to select from a dropdown of pre-approved options would be spot on.

Hi all,
We're going to make changes to Cloud POS for the summer release which will allow you to add a different customisable default SMS message for Payment Links.
This will be editable on the Store page in Back Office, and will support several placeholders for FirstName, LastName, Value & StoreName.
The message will still be editable from the Payment Link view in the POS before sending.

I know I can amend the prefix but doing it for every order can become a bit tedious.
We have had a couple customers refuse to use the link as it looks so much like a scam and they just come in with cash or use bacs instead.
Can I edit the prefix in the back office to make it fixed for each sms

This is an incredibly useful feature, but we too have people question it's authenticity. A more personalised message as Jozef suggests would go a long way.

I can second this, the text of the payment link is bit odd, and also, there isnt enough space to write something more contextualised. maybe; Company name, Customer name, job number, amount to be paid?

I'd be happy to get the default text updated to something different, as long as this wasn't anything too controversial that would work for most.

Not too sure to be honest, potentially just fitting in the company name in the link or having it come from a named contact instead of a number.

I managed to customize the text just before you send the link it allows you to edit it.

We have had customers tell us they have ignored the text as thy thought it may be fraud. Customisation would be great. Love the payment link though - it has helped loads.
