Add option to print A4 work order receipts without customer information

Now that this feature has been 'completed', from what I can tell, you can only print off a workshop receipt without the customer details from the workshop module. Given that you can only book a workshop job through POS, I find it odd that you can't print a receipt without the details from POS.
I'm trying to understand the thinking of the workflow here as perhaps we are not using the system as intended. We tend to print off an A4 receipt from POS and attach it to the bike when it comes in. What is everyone else doing?

Thanks for raising this. I have discussed this with our GDPR officer who has confirmed that, as we understand it, if the information is being collected as part of a transaction, you are not breaking any GDPR rules if you then go on to print that info on a receipt/invoice etc.
You would be in breach of the long-standing data protection laws if you were to lose that information.

Jenna Lees: i think you have missunderstood, the issue is bikes lying about the shop with information on it that can be seen by other customers, we have to shred all the the receipts

Jenna Lees: issue is security, and displaying cusomter information in view of others. Makes it incredibly easy for theft

I suppose the answer would be a workorder receipt/docket that is stripped down to the minimum, and then the actual receipt at the collection point would be the full receipt which have the option to email, print, or not print, or print by accident and then shred.

Just upgraded to POS and think full customer details on receipts is a total nightmare from a data point of view. We now have to be super careful if a customer doesn't want their receipt - make sure it's separated, put in a secure bin for shredding etc etc.... Just another hassle for staff who already have so much to think about at the transaction stage. Haven't yet got to grips with the system but assume that your issue is similar on work orders etc. Why this is not optional functionality at the very least seems strange. Definitely would like to see this scheduled.
