BOGOF / Multibuy Discounts

Add a feature for setting "Buy One Get One Free" offers as well as offers such as "Buy 10 get 10% off". I would suggest setting up the offer on a dedicated "Offers" page in Back Office and then setting items against it (which would allow multiple different products to be set against a particular offer allowing for offers like "Buy 2 pairs of socks and get the cheapest 1/2 price"). It would be useful to be able to apply an entire category to an offer (or the ability to easily select large qty's of items like in a wizard).
If setup as an "Offers" page in Back Office then when viewing an item record it would be good to view all the offers currently affecting that product.
When scanning items in to the till that activate an offer it should pop up with a message to alert the cashier.

Thank you for this suggestion.
This request already exists as a development request. I have linked this post to the request so that all parties receive an update as it progresses.
Thanks, Jen

Christmas is on it's way again. Are we any closer with this?

Have we got any idea as to when this is likely to move ahead? We've started doing multibuys on eBay and it's working really well but obviously we'd rather the sales go through our own website. Thanks

Is there any movement on this at all?

Is there an update as to when Multibuy's will be available. We're coming up to Christmas again and this could really help.

Hi are there any updates on this 3 for 2 multibuy offer feature pleaser for the Cloud POS system? 3 for 2 offers in store have proven very sucessful for us and we are just having to discount the cheapest one manually to zero. thank you

Can this be done for Cloud MT too. Buy 1,2,3,4,5,6,7... Get 1,2,3 Free. With the option to link to specific items, block or include sale items.

Hi we have been running a 3 for 2 offer across the store for xmas and just manually discouting the cheapest item at the till point. It would be great if this multibuy feature could be implemented. Do you have any updates on this please?

Very much looking forward to this functionality being implemented. However, can you guys make sure you also look at the way these promotions will physically run at the till points. Currently the multibuy functionality only works (for us at least!) if you physically input the number of items being purchased rather than using the scanner. So, on a buy three for the price of two promotion we run on some horse treats, the correct (discounted) amount only gets applied if you manually type '3' into the quantity, rather than simply scanning the product three times. We have to have an item note telling the cashier to 'add manually not zap' - not exactly slick!

Kathryn: Hi Kathryn,
This is a known issue in the POS unfortunately, it's down to a timing issue with the way the prices are recalculated when the items are added to the transaction. Scanning does work, as long as you leave a couple of seconds between each scan (not ideal I know!)
We will look to address this bug when we implement the new Discounting structure.
Thank you for you feedback

Hi All,
To keep you updated on our development, this feature has now been delayed. Remote working due to lockdown added extra obstacles to this development plan and we want to be able to give it the time and testing it needs to be able to give you a working, usable discount feature. With this in mind, our hope is it will be included in our June 2021 release.
Please keep suggestions and votes coming.
Thanks,
Stacey
