Cash rounding?

We have the same issue in Australia. Our minimum currency is $0.05 but CL doesn't differentiate between cash or card payment and round for cash so I've had to decrease all $0.99 prices to $0.95 to reduce the chance of staff mistakes. Even so, when discounting a sale we still end up with some transactions run through at $10.61 for instance due to discounting and if not picked up by staff cause an issue with end of day. The ability for the system to round cash transactions (once cash has been selected as the payment option) to the nearest $0.05 would be well received. And perhapse make an early solution for a future problem other countries will face.

I'd heard about this but not clocked the impact on the change calculator and indeed where prices are still still $1.99 rather than $1.95. We'll certainly sort something out here. I understand this is happening gradually due to ceasing to mint the single cent piece?

Neil McQuillan - CEO Citrus-Lime more of a subtotal + tax amount issue. Could the end total presented to the customer be rounded?

Brent J Ah yes, tax rounding will need to change to 5¢ so making this change in wizards will not work. I'll need to do some reading on how to round sales tax with 5¢ being the minimum tender, hopefully this is consistent across all states but we may need to add a round up/down option for sales tax on a per state basis.
Pennies remain legal tender until the existing circulation is depleted, but I cannot find any information on when penny's will 'run out'. We will definitely find a solution to this.

Neil McQuillan - CEO Citrus-Lime no huge hurry on this. Just something to consider as a possibility for the future.
