Agreed. The quote system is useful as it doesn't tie up Inventory. But occasional you'll do a Special order (or workshop job) and then need to revert it back to a quote whilst the customer considers options.

Yes, please. We need to change the type of transactions from any type to any type. I dont need the system to prevent the change i know i need to make.

And when we use a quote, don't tie up the inventory. With a quote, a deposit isnt taken, so the customer hasn't secured any inventory and tge customer most likely wont be back.

Or just add quote as another option
